Experts from by Food Standards Agency and The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) carried out a study in which they analyzed the effects that this type of device can have on the composition of certain foods. It has been found that in some cases the structure of food subjected to heat is modified in such a way that it generates possible repercussions on the digestibility of the food, modifies its nutritional values but also releases substances dangerous for the health.

Mushrooms are best eaten cold, as when reheated they can change composition and cause digestive issues such as bloating and stomach pain.
Chicken meat is a food that is prone to incubating bacteria, such as salmonella. How to be sure to eliminate micro-organisms? It is essential to use a type of heat that is not only very strong but also uniform. This is not the case with the microwave. Among other things, the researchers claim that heating chicken in this oven causes the protein in the white meat to break down in such a way that it can cause stomach problems.
