Chaste tree fruits contain labdanes-diterpenes, flavonoids, alkaloids, iridoids and steroids. Diterpenes like rotundifuran are the active ingredient to relieve PMS. They act as a hormonal regulator and stimulate the pituitary in its role.

A teaspoon of dried berries makes 200 ml of herbal tea. Bring the 200 ml of water to a boil. Then, the dried berries are left to infuse in it for 10 minutes. The mixture is sifted. The recommended dosage is two cups of herbal tea per day. To reduce the pungent taste of the fruit, you can add honey to the herbal tea.

Chaste tree remedies are contraindicated before the age of 18, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. They are also prohibited for women whose family has cases of breast cancer. They are not compatible with fertilization protocols.
