How to use Ferrum metallicum in homeopathy?

The term “Ferrum metallicum” designates the Latin translation of metallic iron. The latter is thus at the origin of this homeopathic medicine.

Metallic iron is an element that is easily found in nature. In its natural form, it has a blue-gray coloring and comes in the form of a lamella or small seeds. This element is almost insoluble in either alcohol or water.

In the human body, iron is an important compound to ensure the proper functioning of the body. Indeed, up to 70% is fixed on hemoglobin and serves to convey oxygen molecules. The rest (about 15 to 20%) is stored in the bone marrow, spleen and liver.

Finally, metallic iron is involved in the preparation of many drugs.

What are the therapeutic indications for this medication?

Anemia:

What are the administration methods?

In the treatment of anemia, take morning and evening, 3 granules in 5 CH. It should be noted that here the Ferrum metallicum should complement traditional treatment.

To soothe the pain, take 3 pellets in 9 CH every hour. Space out doses once symptoms improve.

To treat scapulohumeral periarthritis, it is advisable to opt for granules in 4 or 5 CH. The recommended daily dose is 3 granules in the morning and in the evening for a treatment period of a few weeks.

For hemosiderosis, take for a few months, 5 granules in 15 CH once a day.
