Recipes to fill the deficiencies involved in anemia

Red blood cells, through hemoglobin, are responsible for transporting oxygen. This function strongly depends on their number. A deficiency of these red blood cells leads to anemia. It causes various disorders affecting the general state of health. Natural methods serve to support the treatment as a complementary measure.

Causes of anemia

By definition, theanemia is characterized by an insufficient number of functional red blood cells. It comes from a loss of blood or an imbalance between their production and their degradation.

Hemorrhage is one of the main causes of anemia.

Insufficiency in some parts of the world occurs in women. This is due to insufficient food intake to make up for the losses associated with menstruation.

The hemorrhages in the digestive tract are also very common. They come from diseases such as ulcerative colitis or colon cancer. They can also occur following the ingestion of anti-inflammatory drugs.

Bleeding can result from gastric ulcer, hemorrhoids or hemophilia. Certain parasites like hookworms also cause them.

The production of red blood cells is located in the bone marrow. An affection or a destruction of this one reduces or stops this production. This usually occurs during radiation therapy treatment. It sometimes results from autoimmune reactions. Viral hepatitis, severe rheumatoid arthritis also cause this anemia called aplastic.

The spleen sorts out the elements of the blood and rids it of unnecessary particles, including old red blood cells. A disease of the spleen leads to an increase in its volume. This leads to the spleen excessive destruction of red blood cells. Thus, even the still healthy blood cells disappear. Genetic disorders produce misshapen red blood cells. The spleen sees them as antigens and destroys them.

The importance of the deficiency determines the consequences of anemia. It usually produces pallor and physical weakness. They are accompanied by dizziness or shortness of breath. The deformed red blood cells remain stuck in the small vessels. This induces lower limb ischemia or pain in the affected organs.

Recipes for treating anemia

The preparation of recipes aims to increase the nutritional intake in order to accompany a anti-anaemic treatment. The substances used mainly provide iron.

Nettle is considered the best natural solution for anemia. It is one of the plants with the highest chlorophyll content. This brings it closer to the chemical composition of hemoglobin.
