Eating certain foods for breakfast will boost your neurotransmitters and make you more productive, motivated and focused throughout the day.

Fish

The omega 3 found in fish are crucial nutrients for optimal brain function. DHA and EPA improve cognitive abilities and brain size. The quality amino acids found in fish provide an excellent source of protein for building muscle.

Nuts

Walnuts contain the antioxidant ALA (Alphe Lipoic Acid), which improves cognitive functions by protecting brain cells. Studies show that a diet rich in nuts prevents brain degeneration, improving memory and reasoning.

Berries

Blueberries are one of the best anti-aging foods, along with strawberries, raspberries, and all berries in general, because they protect the brain from oxidative stress. Studies show that frequent consumption of berries halts memory decline, improves learning ability and motor skills.

Spinach

Rich in vitamin E, this vegetable increases dopamine levels in the brain, for better understanding of information. Spinach also provides lutein which helps detoxify the brain of free radicals and protects against cognitive decline.

Coffee and green tea

Everyone has their preference, but both green tea and coffee are effective in improving brain function. Try, according to your tolerance, to consume it at sunrise and at the beginning of the afternoon, in order to optimize your vigilance.

Olives and olive oil

Another good source of lipids rich in antioxidants, providing components that help the brain function properly. A study has shown that women who consume a lot of olive oil have brains that are on average 6 to 7 years younger than their biological age.
