Therapeutic indications of Staphysagria in homeopathy

Staphysagria is a plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. It is an herb commonly known as staphysigre or ragweed. It is found in very large numbers in the Mediterranean regions at low altitude. It is the dry seeds that are used to prepare the mother tincture.

Among these existing forms, the majority are hydro-alcoholic solutions. These are drinkable drops, ampoules and tinctures. There is one that only contains lactose. It’s the triturations. Leftovers, i.e. doses and granules are based on lactose and sucrose.

Under what circumstances is this homeopathic remedy usable?

Among the many existing homeopathic remedies, Staphysagria is one of the most used. It is mainly indicated in case ofurinary tract infection and pain when urinating with clear urine. The infection is manifested by a burning sensation that ceases during urination.

Staphysagria is also used in case of itching that accompany ringworm, herpes or eczema. They are very itchy and after scratching they change location.

It is effective for treat incisional wounds and pain from surgical wounds. It is the same in case of wart on the genitals. Wart that is accompanied by itching. These other therapeutic indications are as follows:

  • Recurrent styes, chalazions.
  • Psychic disorders that lead to bodily ailments.
  • Motion sickness with dizziness.
  • Nausea or vomiting with heavy salivation during pregnancy.

How to correctly use the Staphysagria remedy in homeopathy?

In curative treatment of urinary tract infections, take 5 pellets of 7 or 9 CH every two hours. The intake must then be spaced out gradually according to the improvement of the symptoms. The treatment of urinary tract infections lasts only 3 days.

As a preventive measure recurrent cystitis, take 1 dose of 15 to 30 CH per week for 3 months. In case of itching, taking 5 granules of 15 CH is done at each crisis.

Wounds with incision and the pain of wounds are relieved by taking 5 granules. Taken every 2 hours but then spaced out with the decrease in symptoms. The duration of treatment is 1 week.

In case of warts, take 5 granules of 9 CH morning and evening for 2 months. Chalazions and styes are treated with 5 granules morning and evening for 3 months. The dilution to use is 7 CH.

The dose and duration in case of behavioral problems vary according to the age of their triggering cause. If it is recent, the catch follows the method of doses in scale.
