Therapeutic indications of Tuberculinum in homeopathy

Homeopathy is defined as a therapeutic method consisting in giving the patient a substance in infinitesimal doses. It is a therapy that advocates the law of similarity. The origin of homeopathic medicines is very diverse. It can be animal, vegetable, chemical or mineral. The homeopathic strain of Tuberculinum is obtained from the culture of the strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is a strain of bovine and human origin. Tuberculinum is formerly known as TK or Koch’s Tuberculin.

The remedy comes in different forms. To cite granules, drops, doses, triturations, suppositories and drinkable ampoules. The basic material of the globule and granule doses are lactose and sucrose. Only lactose makes up triturations in oral powder. As for the leftovers, they are all hydro-alcoholic solutions.

Therapeutic indications for Tuberculinum are numerous. Its action can be preventive or curative.

As prevention, we can cite the nasopharyngitischronic angina presenting with inflammation of the tonsils and ear infections. As well as bronchitis which returns regularly.

This remedy treats seromucous otitis, allergic colds and allergic asthma. It is also effective in case of tracheitis which results in an irritating cough. It is also useful in the recovery of styes that tend to come back.

  • Inflammation of the skin following a contact allergy with the sensitive allergen.
  • Retinal migraine.

How to use the remedy correctly?

We take this homeopathic remedy apart from tobacco, mint, coffee but also meals. As a mode of consumption, the doses and the granules are allowed to melt under the tongue. Infants can dissolve them in a little water. It is a homeopathic remedy that can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Recommended dosage:

A dose of 30 CH, every 15 days for 3 months, treats various ailments. These include recurrent bronchitis, allergic asthma, tracheitis, ENT pathologies and recurrent styes. The same dose treats urinary tract infections persistent or recurrent to Colibacilles.

In case of gynecological and dermatological disorders, take 1 dose at 30 CH dilution, every 15 days. It must be taken for a period of 3 months. The dose and duration are similar for the treatment of ophthalmic migraine, sleep disturbances and anxiety.
